R.O.C. Prescott to Vegas April 28, 2018

Joined Raptor Off-Road Community (ROC) and Arizona Raptor Runs (AZRR) on a partnered trip starting in Prescott, AZ and finishing in Las Vegas, NV. We trekked through the mountains on Senator Highway into the Town of Crown King, and continued down rutted and steep switchbacks dumping us out just north of Phoenix, AZ. I particularly enjoyed the Giant Saguaro forests along the way. From there, we hit some wide open dirt roads as the sun was setting, and then fast-tracked to Lake Havasu City, AZ for the night. The final trek to Las Vegas included a massive hill climb, which provided an amazing view of the valley, though extremely windy! This was my first time in the State of Arizona, and I would like to visit again to photograph the abundant species of cacti and hound for it's amazing rocks.
